EAC IMMERSION PROGRAM

The primary objective of the EAC Immersion Program is to provide students with an extended learning experience that will expose them to the world beyond the neighborhood where they currently live. Opportunities to travel outside of their comfort zone are offered and the chance to immerse themselves in a different culture and language while applying what they learn in the classroom into real-life experience. This learning opportunity will provide them with experiences they can utilize throughout their college life and careers. Our premier trip will take students to the French-Canadian city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Goals

  • Learn and develop Foreign language speaking and writing skills
  • Cultivate a deeper appreciation for arts and culture 
  • Gain exposure and a greater awareness of social aspects of global citizens 
  • Develop knowledge of educational opportunities abroad 
  • Share a piece of the college experience and gain and idea of what to look forward to Build relationships with likeminded peers
